Can you tell us about your mission at Innovateam?
I joined Innovateam in 2014, as design manager for Autoliv (a company I'd worked for in the past), in the electronic belts and steering wheels division. I stayed with Innovateam for 5 years, until April 2020, since through my assignment I had the opportunity to join Autoliv to take up a project manager position. In this capacity, I had previously completed a project management certification (PMP).
What is your current position?
Today, I'm in charge of "platform projects", which are projects at the crossroads between innovation and application projects. The aim is to provide a software and hardware architecture for electronic functions integrated on steering wheels.
My responsibility extends globally across the various Autoliv entities, and our activity requires us to pool different architectures and ensure that application projects can integrate a certain number of functional modules.
My aim is to be able to deliver to my internal customers an electronic architecture as well as tested and proven functions that reduce technical risks, costs and development times.
What has your experience at Innovateam brought you?
Jean-David put his trust in me when he asked me to set up a number of training programs within Innovateam: training young engineers who played the role of junior project managers, instilling in them the culture of project management.
I also took part in various "technical" meetings held at Innovateam, including the InnovaConcours on the theme of drones. I was thus able to appreciate the technical achievements and assess the way in which the various projects carried out by the students had been managed.
Innovateam has been a real springboard for me to practice my profession with maximum confidence, and has given me the opportunity to grow as a professional in embedded systems project management.
What does Innovateam mean to you?
The anecdote I have is that, in the past and being already employed by Autoliv, Jean-David had approached me to see if I could host his very first consultant. This milestone was the very beginning of a partnership between Innovateam and Autoliv!
For me, Innovateam represents a company where people come first, and which remains benevolent towards its consultants. Innovateam remains a company on a human scale, with deeply rooted ecological values and always at the forefront of organizing major events.
What impressed you about Innovateam?
I've made a lot of contacts at Innovateam, both through events and through the training courses I've given.
I'm thinking in particular of Innovateam's 10th anniversary, which left a lasting impression on me, with a large-scale one-day event involving all the InnovActors in various workshops.
